Born and raised in the Cleveland area, he attended St. Ignatius High School, and received his B.A., cum laude, from Canisius College's All-College Honors Program in 2004, where he was named a Raichle Pre-law Scholar. Joe attended Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where he received the Spangenberg Trial Practice Award for excellence in trial practice and procedure, and CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for his work in Remedies and Trial Advocacy. In his practice, Joe focuses primarily in the areas of product liability, medical malpractice, and general negligence. He is admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of the State of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Joe is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American (ABA), Ohio (OSBA), and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations (CMBA), as well as the American (AAJ) and Ohio Associations for Justice (OAJ), and the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys (CATA). He is the Educational Programming chair of the Executive Board for the Northeast Ohio Lawyer.s Chapter of the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy (ACS).
